Kitchen Renovation - Modern Spanish Revival
This kitchen was originally long, dark, narrow, and cut off from the dining room area. We fully opened it up by taking down the existing dining room wall and reconfigured the entire space with a new, more functional layout. We chose a Spanish-style natural stone backsplash, custom built the large island, repainted the cabinets, updated the hardware and lighting, refinished the floors, and upgraded the counters to a beautiful Quartz for a brighter, earthy feel.

Guest Bathroom Renovation - Earthy & Natural
This small guest hall bathroom was originally dark, cold and outdated. We removed everything and put necessary insulation into the new walls, replaced the cumbersome radiator with baseboard heating to allow for more space near the toilet, replaced the bathtub, single vanity with open shelving at the bottom, gold mirror, overhead glass shade lighting, oil rubbed bronze hardware, and tile on both the floor and shower walls. A warmer more natural paint color helped transform this guest bathroom into a tranquil oasis.

Primary en suite Bathroom Renovation
This en suite bathroom was actually reconfigured from originally being a small master closet that was the size of the shower. After redesigning the layout, we were able to maximize the bathroom space with a beautiful dove grey double vanity with Quartz counters, brushed gold hardware and mirrors, decorative floor tiles, and two different natural stone tiles in the shower. This bathroom was a complete transformation from what it started off as! Also, by pushing out the interior walls we gained approximately 3' of much needed space, all while creating a walk-in closet on the left adjacent wall (not-pictured). A total win-win!

Hallway Closet to Powder Room Conversion
You would never believe that this tiny powder room was once a hallway coat closet! We fully eliminated the coat closet, pushed out the walls and ceiling, and actually created this requested space from just a simple box. The Spanish-style mosaic floor tiles, classic pedestal sink, charcoal paint accent wall, and moody pendant light give this tiny powder room a cozy, unique vibe our clients were hoping for! If you click on the picture, you will see that we were even able to add a custom transom window above the door to match the original style of the 1900's home to provide more ambient light.

Hallway Wainscot Paneling
One way to truly elevate your space is to incorporate custom trim work and moldings. This hallway was once bare and under noticed for the beauty it soon became. We created custom wainscot panels to fit the exact length and width of this hallway which quickly turned it into a true show-stopper by not only adding architectural detail to the space, but by drawing your eye all the way down the hallway.

Office Built-In Cabinetry
This beautiful custom cabinet was an essential part of this office area that was originally missing storage. We custom built not just a beautiful piece of furniture to fit the space, but also allowed the client to hide necessary, yet oftentimes unattractive, excess office supplies, printer, important paperwork, and all the other work supplies we need but don't necessarily want to show the world. See some of our other custom creations at Sean Thompson Builds.

Tile Flooring
This beautiful foyer was very large and grand like a hotel lobby, but was just missing that designer look to elevate the space and create more intrigue. After upgrading the circular staircase to a more modern feel with black railings, balusters, and white stair risers, we were able to remove the existing red oak hardwood flooring and replace it with a classic larger format tile in a muted checkerboard pattern. This was perfect for the client's style, and truly created a WOW moment from the second you opened the front door!

Custom Shadow Box Molding
What a difference architectural trim and moldings can make for large blank walls. If you are looking to elevate your space to create a truly custom look and feel, then consider wainscot paneling, shadow box or many other types of custom decorative moldings to take your space from looking large and bare, to designer chic. You will be amazed at the transformation!
